The
one-of-a-kind Black Flash Suit was made exclusively for Rex
Allen Sr. in approx 1962 by "Nudie's Rodeo Tailors"
of North Hollywood, California.
Rex
Allen Sr. had a hit record "Son Don't Go Near The
Indians" at that time. That is why there is an
Indian on the back.
He
wore this exquisite stretch lamé fabric outfit on
hundreds of shows through out the United States and Canada.
Rex Allen Sr. called it stretch metal!
All
the work on the jacket is hand embroidery. It is a one of a
kind. Also included in the offering is one of my Fathers
Bailey 200X beaver hats. This is the hat that Rex Allen Sr.
wore.
"To
complete the outfit is a pair of my Fathers Tony Lama
alligator boots with the Rex Allen stitch top", stated
Rex Allen Jr.
