Barbara DeWitte's portrait while still in grammar school. Taken at the 5 & 10-cent store in one of the instant portrait photo-machines. These were photo booths where you sat in front of a camera, pulled a curtain for privacy, and clicked a button to take your own picture You could take 4 pictures on a strip of photo paper for 25-cents. You would then wait for the machine to process the photos which gave the final results in just a few minutes.
